Author Adoption Program
Hello students, here is the list of authors and students:
If you were absent the assignment was to look up several biographies of your author, so you could get to know him/her, and write, with your own words (NOT copy and paste), a biography of your own (2 page minimum).
You will also select a book your author wrote and either buy it used on Amazone for a couple of dollars or chek it out at a local library. You will become an expert on this particular book as you will work on it for the entire year in it. Periodically I will ask you to update the class in your particular book and assignments will be based on your particular book also.

UPdates!
Hello class!
Please check for corrections to the syllabus; basically since last week the class was cancelled I made a correction to it.
Please subscribe to my blog so you can receive updates automatically, so far, only one student has subscribed to it. I will take points off your grade if you delay to do so.
This Saturday we will have a lot of work since the last class was cancelled, so expect to get busy and to do some serious homework.
If you can not see the video online (homework movie) please look for it at your local video rental store. We will talk about it in class.
There should be no excuse to NOT see the movie on-line, I just checked and its viewable at the following link:

I’ll see you in a few hours, remember that you are being graded after every class session; so bring your homework typed. Do not fall behind and bring the best possible attitude to class; remeber that attitude and choice are your best assets.
