Saturday 25th Class

Be ready to present your partial book analysis (tone, setting, character, narrator, etc.); this presentation was postponed due to your last week’s irresponsible behaviour.  Please bring your adopted book, we will use it in class. 

If you decide not to participate in class, via your absence of work, you will be sent to Mrs. Yanar’s office.

Hello Junior Class,

This Saturday we will be working with your books IN CLASS, please do not forget to bring them to class.

Bring your homeworks if you are missing assignments, remeber that they are the source of your grade.

This Saturday you will present to your class your character analysis & your story analysis.

Please print out your materials, DO NOT start your excuse by: I could not open it, or It’s in my USB! It won’t save you from a zero on assignment completion and participation.

If you feel more comfortable with note cards, prepare them and use them moderately.

I will also ask you to give me an update on your reading (Adopted Author & Book), so be prepared.

Here is what you are expected to cover from your Adopted Author’s Book:

—Setting

—Tone

—Analyze the quality of the story

—Analyze 4 characters in depth

—ID: all types of characters we covered in this class.

—4 examples of imagery

—4 examples of figurative language

—What type of narrative is it? 1st, 2nd, 3rd person or omniscient.
